Summer Ensemble
Community performances and summer music-making opportunities for advancing musicians.
What is Summer Ensemble?
MVYSO’s Summer Ensemble performs for the community at events in and around Maple Valley during the summer months. This group combines Concert and Symphony students to perform fun, upbeat music while staying connected and performing throughout the summer season.
We welcome new members to join Summer Ensemble. Participants should be able to play at a Concert Orchestra level or higher.
Rehearsals
Dates: May – July 2026
Rehearsals: Mondays, 7:00–9:00 p.m., beginning May 11 (No rehearsal on Memorial Day)

July 3 — Independence Day Fireworks at Lake Wilderness Park
Cost
Current MVYSO Members
Local Summer Tour events and rehearsals are included as part of regular season tuition.
New Members
$200 for rehearsals and local events only. Includes MVYSO polo.
Summer Travel Tour
The Summer Travel Tour involves a short travel itinerary, typically 2 to 4 nights, and includes a performance as well as a workshop when available.

Universal Orlando
There is no travel tour planned for 2026.
