Registration is the first step toward joining MVYSO. Complete the appropriate form and our staff will guide you through the placement and onboarding process.
Overview
Registration is open for students interested in orchestra, percussion, and specialty programs. After submitting your registration, our registrar will contact you with information about auditions, placement, and next steps.
What happens after registration?
Audition or Placement Evaluation: Students enrolling in orchestra programs will receive audition information and scheduling details. Some programs do not require auditions.

Ensemble Placement: After auditions are completed, students will receive placement information and orientation details.

Complete Required Forms: Families will be asked to review the Family Guide and submit any required forms before the first rehearsal or class.

Attend Orientation: General orientation takes place during the first rehearsal or class meeting for each group.
