Seattle Thunderbirds Game Performance 2010
We got to check out Coolbird's car on our behind the scenes "tour"
The MVYSO made Thunderbirds history by being the first orchestra to ever play the national anthems for them. We played both the American and Canadian National Anthems from memory. (There was no room for music stands!)
MVYSO's Conductor, April Whyte thought this was the strangest idea ever! Now, she's a hockey fan and this will be an annual tradition for the MVYSO!
Orchestra instruments look out of place, yet cool in the stands!
Sean Runnels of the Seattle Thunderbirds. Sean is an "out of the box" thinker who helped us make T-Birds history.
MVYSO sold over 150 tickets to friends, family and fans. Our group was part of over 4,000 who enjoyed the game that night. It was hat night. Everyone got a hat autographed by Coolbird.
