MAPLE VALLEY YOUTH SYMPHONY
2009-2010 Concert Season
With the success of our second season the Maple Valley Youth Symphony arrives at our third year with great enthusiasm. Our dedicated and courageous musicians attracted others who shared their deep commitment to excellence. This belief allowed players to take risks in self-expression and share themselves with their community. When they shared their gifts they grew as people as well as musicians. Their pursuit of musical excellence and strong determination continues to pilot the musical journey that begins this new concert season.
There is a joy and strength that comes from giving your best in the things that you do. There is artistry in every realm of life, be it music, sports, or even cleaning house. There is beauty in a task well done. In the MVYSO our task is not just music, but the person. We believe in the people that our musicians become and know that communicating effort and commitment to personal dreams happens with commitment to something larger than ourselves.
